Poker Run Rules

A "Poker Run" is not a race.  Winning is pure luck of the draw!  Sign ups start at 11am Sunday.  Run will start
around 12:15pm.  Riders of all ages and skill levels can participate and have equal odds at winning.  The
wooded trail is optional.  If you do not participate in the poker run, you may still ride the track.  However, you will
be required to exit the track during any race.

Each rider will draw a card from a poker deck at the completion of each lap for a total of seven cards
Participants must maintain sportsman like conduct at all times, respecting inexperienced or slower riders
The rider with the best poker hand wins 1st place
The rider with the worst poker hand wins 2nd place
A random drawing of the names of all participates will determine our 3rd place winner
In the event of a tie hand, each winner will draw a card.  The rider with the highest card will be our winner.

Slow Poke Race Rules

You guessed it...in this race the person who comes in last wins!  Whats the catch?  Well this race will test the riders overall MX skills, strategical planning, patience, and balance.

Once you leave the gate, your feet are not allowed to touch the ground or you're disqualified
The rider crossing the finish line LAST without being disqualified wins!

We will need disqualification judges set up throughout the track.  Don't be shy, volunteer prior to the race.

Drag-Strip Poker Relay Race Rules

Get your mind out of the gutter!  Its not exactly how it sounds.  This race should be fun for everyone (everyone watching that is).  This race is about teamwork & fashion coordination (just kidding) and requires little skill.

Each team is made up of 2 or more riders (depending on the total number of participates)
At the start of the race one rider from each team will rush to some provided clothing and grab a dress,
purse, and two water balloons
The rider then dresses in the attire and proceeds to their bike and heads for the track
At the end of a lap, the first rider strips off the clothing and passes it to the next rider on their team
The second rider must also dress in the attire, including the water balloons, before they can proceed to
the track for their lap, this continues till all riders on that team have completed one lap
Should a water balloon burst (and you know they will...we'll make sure of that) they must be replaced at
the end of each lap
The team who's last rider crosses the finish line wearing the required attire, including water balloons wins!

50cc Race
If we have enough participates, we will allow our 50cc riders to have a race on our main track!  50cc riders not participating in any of our events may ride on our current 50 track free of charge but will not be allowed on our
main track due to our scheduled events.

Miscellaneous Information
Riders are not permitted on the track prior to 12:15pm due to church services in the area.  Riders who
participate in the Poker Run may enter races and events at no additional cost.  Riders who do not participate in
the Poker Run but would like to enter one of our races will just pay the normal $5 daily track fee.
